(Mount Rainier, MD, October 1) Holistic Homes, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing personalized wellness and supportive housing for adults with mental health conditions, will host its AI for Good: Digital Tech and AI for Wellness seminar and fundraiser on Friday, October 10, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Joe’s Movement Emporium in Mount Rainier, Maryland.
The evening combines cutting-edge discussion on artificial intelligence and mental health with a silent auction and the official launch of the organization’s holistic wellness app, tailored for adults living with mental health challenges.
The highlight of the evening will be a keynote address by Craig A. DeLarge, MPH, MBA, CPC, a nationally recognized digital health strategist, mental health advocate, and educator.
DeLarge is the founder of The Digital Mental Health Project and has held leadership roles with global firms including Novo Nordisk, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck & Co., Takeda, and Johnson & Johnson. He also has taught at Temple University, Philadelphia University, Chestnut Hill College, St. Joseph’s University, and Penn State University. His expertise lies in guiding the responsible adoption of digital technologies in behavioral health, leadership, and wellness.
“This event represents the intersection of innovation, wellness, and community,” said Lisa Bass Cooper, founder and board president of Holistic Homes. “By engaging thought leaders like Craig DeLarge, we are advancing a vision of housing that supports not only recovery but also thriving through personalized wellness and technology.”
The fundraiser will benefit Holistic Homes’ capital campaign to build supportive housing in Prince George’s County, providing safe, holistic, and tech-enabled housing options for adults living with mental health conditions. The event also will raise awareness of World Mental Health Day.
